MY VISION OF BEING AN END OF LIFE COMPANION
Listening, really listening to the person who is at the end of their life is a gift in itself. A Death Doula is not a medical practioner and does not replace medical services. My role as a certified Death Doula is multi faceted and a few examples are to help you discuss and sort your wishes for your death, how you see your last few days enfolding, how you want to be remembered ie do you want to leave a certain legacy in a collection of memories, laughter, songs and recipes for example. I am also able to assist after the passing of the person by helping sort personal effects for example. I offer suggestions within the scope of my knowledge to best support the individual and the family until the end and thereafter.
